Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Crispy Roasted Lentils
  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Drain and rinse the lentils under cold water. Spread them on a paper towel and pat dry.
  3. Drizzle a tablespoon of cooking oil on the baking sheet. Add the lentils, sprinkle salt, and toss to coat.
  4. Roast the lentils for 20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
  5. After 20 minutes, sprinkle the chili powder and garlic powder over the lentils. Toss and roast for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  6. Let the lentils cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving.
