  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated, or nutritional yeast for dairy-free.
Seasoning and Garnish
  • Fresh Basil For garnish.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Thyme Or Italian herbs.

Cooking Steps
  1. Cook Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add penne pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté Chicken: Heat cooking oil and butter in a skillet. Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Prepare Sauce: In the same skillet, add more butter, garlic, and onion. Sauté until onion is translucent. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and tomato paste, cooking for another minute.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add heavy cream and chicken stock to the skillet. Mix in powders and seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Thicken Sauce: Return chicken to skillet and add cooked pasta, tossing to coat. Cook on low for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add Cheese: Stir in Parmesan until melted. Adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with fresh basil and serve.
