Cooking Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 10 minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic over medium heat for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes, stir and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
- Sprinkle in mozzarella and parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
- Serve garnished with fresh basil leaves and optional red pepper flakes.
