Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can crescent roll dough 8 rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Prepare Crescent Dough: Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
  4. Fill and Roll: Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll tightly toward the pointed end, ensuring the filling stays inside.
  5. Butter the Rolls: Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter to create a golden, crispy crust.
  6. Bake: Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  7. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For added flavor, use seasoned rotisserie chicken.
  • If the filling feels too soft, chill it for 10–15 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
