- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. In the last 3 minutes, add broccoli florets. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
- Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter, then garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Stir in red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper.
- Return chicken to the skillet with drained pasta and broccoli. Toss to coat with sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Serve garnished with more Parmesan, parsley, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
