Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. In the last 3 minutes, add broccoli florets. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes. Remove and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter, then garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Stir in red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet with drained pasta and broccoli. Toss to coat with sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Serve garnished with more Parmesan, parsley, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
