  • 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk Opt for evaporated milk and sugar for lower sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Almond extract can be substituted

  • 1 cup Candy Eggs Any small chocolate or candy can work

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ⅔ cup of all-purpose flour, 14 oz. of sweetened flaked coconut, and ¼ teaspoon of salt. Whisk together.
  3. Add 14 oz. of sweetened condensed milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir until well blended.
  4. Using a large cookie scoop, portion approximately 3 tablespoons of the dough onto lined baking sheets.
  5. Shape each scoop of dough into a nest form with an indent in the center.
  6. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until lightly golden brown.
  7. Allow the nests to cool completely on the baking sheets for about 10-15 minutes.
  8. Carefully fill the indent of each nest with candy eggs.
