Method
- Season chicken and place in slow cooker.
- Top with garlic, mushrooms, wine, and broth.
- Cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours.
- Mix cream and cornstarch; stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes.
- Serve hot.

- searing chicken before slow cooking adds flavor
- use low-sodium broth if preferred
- heavy cream makes the sauce rich and luscious
- serve with mashed potatoes or noodles
