Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, add halved fresh cherries with 2 tablespoons of water. Cook them gently over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cherries soften and release their juices.
  2. While the cherries are simmering, in a separate pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Pour the hot water over your Earl Grey tea and steep for 3-5 minutes.
  3. After the cherries are cooked, lower the heat and add your choice of milk to the saucepan. Warm the mixture gently, stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla syrup to add sweetness.
  5. Pour the brewed Earl Grey tea into a mug and strain the cherry-milk mixture over the tea.
