Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by bringing a medium saucepan of water to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  2. Once the water is boiling, add your black tea bags, frozen cherries, a cinnamon stick, and your chosen sweetener to the saucepan. Stir gently and let steep for about 5–10 minutes.
  3. While the tea is steeping, fill a large pitcher halfway with ice to chill the Cherry Pie Iced Tea quickly.
  4. After steeping, remove the tea bags and cinnamon stick. Stir in the vanilla extract. Pour the mixture through a fine strainer into the prepared pitcher.
  5. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and allow it to cool completely for at least 1 hour.
  6. Before serving, stir gently. Garnish with extra cherries or a slice of lemon if desired.
