Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Press meat mixture into the bottom of the dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare macaroni and cheese according to package instructions.
- Spread the mac and cheese over the partially baked meatloaf and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Bake another 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Top with extra ketchup before serving for a classic meatloaf flavor.
- Use flavored breadcrumbs for added seasoning.
