Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cook ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess grease.
- In a large bowl, combine beef, diced potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
- Spread mixture into the baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle with cheese, and bake an additional 15 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Substitute cream of mushroom soup with cream of chicken if preferred.
- Add diced bell peppers or onions for more flavor.
