Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 bag 32 ounces frozen tater tots
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickles optional
  • 1 tablespoon mustard optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and mix well.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and cream of mushroom soup. Mix until well combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  6. Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  8. If desired, sprinkle chopped pickles and mustard on top before serving.
