Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat for about 6–8 minutes, until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  2. In the same skillet, melt a tablespoon of butter. Toast two slices of sourdough bread, cooking for about 3–4 minutes on one side until golden.
  3. Flip the bread and add a slice of cheddar cheese on each piece; allow the cheese to soften while the other side toasts.
  4. Layer turkey breast on one slice of bread, top with crispy bacon, and optional toppings. Place second slice on top, cheese side down.
  5. Add another tablespoon of butter to the skillet, grill the sandwich for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from heat, let it rest for a minute, cut in half, and serve immediately.
