Cooking Steps
- Fill a medium saucepan with water and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat. Carefully add the eggs and let them cook for about 10 minutes.
- Transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for easier peeling.
- In a medium saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of unsalted butter over medium heat, stirring occasionally until melted.
- Add the sliced onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent.
- Stir in minced garlic and garlic paste, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes, stirring well.
- Pour in 1/2 cup of vegetable broth and bring to a gentle simmer for 5 minutes.
- Peel the cooled eggs and place them in a serving bowl, then ladle the spicy garlic butter sauce over the eggs.
- Serve warm or chilled, garnishing with parsley or additional red pepper flakes as desired.
