Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cooked shredded chicken with hot sauce until coated.
  3. Divide prepared pizza dough into 2 pieces for large calzones or 4 for regular-sized ones. Roll each into a circle about 6 to 8 inches in diameter.
  4. Layer ¼ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on one half of each dough circle, followed by a cup of buffalo chicken mixture and another ¼ cup of mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Fold the dough over, pinch edges firmly to seal, and use water if necessary.
  6. Make a few small cuts on top of each calzone to allow steam to escape.
  7. Place calzones on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, and serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing.
