- Brown butter in a saucepan, cool slightly.

- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Chill dough 30–60 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake 10–12 minutes.
