Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 slider buns
  • 4 slices American cheese cut in half
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Add onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, and sugar to create the special sauce.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer half of the cooked beef on the buns, followed by half of the cheese slices. Add the remaining beef and top with the remaining cheese.
  5. Spread the special sauce over the cheese, then add the shredded lettuce, diced pickles, and diced onions. Place the top halves of the buns on the sliders.
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
