Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Place chicken breasts in a slow cooker.
  2. Add barbecue sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  4. Shred chicken with two forks and stir well to coat with sauce.
  5. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Add a splash of apple cider vinegar for extra tang.
  • Use leftovers for sliders, wraps, or loaded baked potatoes.
