Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and gently dry 1 pound of fresh strawberries. Remove the stems and slice the berries into uniform pieces, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. In a bowl with the sliced strawberries, drizzle 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and 1 tablespoon of honey. Gently fold until coated. Allow to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  3. In each serving bowl, add a generous dollop of 1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt as the creamy base layer.
  4. After 30 minutes, spoon the macerated strawberries over the yogurt in each serving bowl.
  5. Top each serving with a dollop of whipped cream. Optionally, drizzle honey over the whipped cream and add fresh mint or basil.
  6. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
