- Shred green papaya and carrot into thin strands using a julienne tool. This will take about 5-7 minutes.
- Snap off ends of green beans and cut into 1-inch pieces. Dice the tomato and slice shallot. Gather herbs.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded papaya, carrot, green beans, tomato, shallots, cilantro, and basil. Toss gently.
- Pour the dressing over the salad mix and toss thoroughly with tongs to ensure everything is well coated.
- Transfer the dressed salad to a platter and top with coarsely chopped peanuts and additional herbs for garnish.
