Description
A delicious Cheddar and Bacon Turkey Melt on Sourdough, perfect for a hearty lunch or dinner.
Ingredients

- 3 slices of sourdough bread
- 4 ounces of turkey breast, sliced
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 slices of cooked bacon
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- On the unbuttered side, layer turkey, cheddar cheese, and bacon.
- Spread mustard on the other slice of bread and place it on top, mustard side down.
- Butter the outside of the sandwich.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add avocado or tomato slices.
- Use a panini press for a crispier sandwich.
- Feel free to substitute turkey with chicken or ham.
