Description

A delicious Cheddar and Bacon Turkey Melt on Sourdough, perfect for a hearty lunch or dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 slices of sourdough bread
  • 4 ounces of turkey breast, sliced
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • Butter for grilling

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side, layer turkey, cheddar cheese, and bacon.
  4. Spread mustard on the other slice of bread and place it on top, mustard side down.
  5. Butter the outside of the sandwich.
  6. Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add avocado or tomato slices.
  • Use a panini press for a crispier sandwich.
